Bang Kieu, whose full name is Nguyen Bang Kieu, born on July 13, 1973 in Hanoi, is a Vietnamese singer. Bang Kieu used to join the bands Golden Key, Milk Flower, Watermelon and then separated to sing solo. In 2002, he settled in the US and married singer Trizzie Phuong Trinh. Due to controversial statements, at the end of 2004, he was deprived of his Vietnamese citizenship. In 2008, Bang Kieu had the first trip back to Vietnam. Currently Bang Kieu is the exclusive singer of Thuy Nga center. Bang Kieu's voice is classified in the tenor's voice (tenor), which is rated as pure and emotional.  He belongs to the same time class singers Lam Truong, Minh Thuan,  Phuong Thanh, My Linh, Duong Chi Linh, Quang Linh, Minh Tuyet. In September 2012, Bang Kieu returned to Vietnam and was granted a live performance by the Performing Arts Department for 3 months from October to December.
