Muly - TikTok, Dubsmash Clone Script

Muly is a scalable and zoomable short video app that includes support for cloud deployment by default. The API is secured with personal access tokens, the admin panel is reactive due to its Laravel + Livewire backbone. Whereas the android app is built on material design principles and consists of simple, less code to understand and repeat.

Ranking algorithm

The algorithm is pretty smart. It keeps track of the videos users have watched and shows the unwatched ones first. Even after that, to prevent repetition, it randomizes when the user has viewed everything without being watched. In both scenarios, it's preferable to show clips from verified users first.
